Dear Restaurant / Catering Business,

Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball, America's largest outdoor basketball tournament, is returning to Olean August 14-16, 2009.  The 3-day event will be organized and will benefit both the Olean High School Sports Booster and the Olean City School District Foundation. The Gus Macker Committee would like to inform you of the Tournament Food Service during this event.  WE ARE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FOOD VENDORS at the tournament by bid method, based on your menu selection.

The tournament expects up to 400 teams (1600 players) and more than 5000 spectators.  We are looking variety in menu items.  One of the food vendors is the tournament’s Charter Sponsor, the Old Library Restaurant, who will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta, Italian sausage sandwiches.  The food vendor fee will be $500.00.

For the other food vendor slots (who would not be able to sell those items above), items such as BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, chicken/roast beef sandwiches, pizza, powerbars/fruit, ice cream/concession foods would be allowed.  Please fill out the attached food bid form and send it to the Gus Macker committee no later than March 15, 2009.  No payment is needed at this time.

Please include how much space and electric you as a food vendor would need.  A decision will be made regarding which food vendors will be permitted to sell at the Gus Macker no later than March 31, 2009.  Please call if you have any further questions.
