Annual Rally Raffle

The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and the Olean Area Motorcycle Enthusiasts are raffling off a 2009 Harley-Davidson Flame Blue Pearl Electra Glide® during the 7th Annual Rally in the Valley motorcycle event in August. 

From the new comfort-stitched saddle to the six-speed 96 cubic-inch engine, you'll see what makes logging miles on a big Harley so addictive.  Other key touches on the Electra Glide include a redesigned frame, front forks and rear shocks, new cast aluminum wheels with Dunlop tires, redesigned isolated drive system, rubber-mounted, 1584 cc Twin Cam 96 Engine, New 2-1-2 exhaust system, “Bat Wing”, Fork-Mounted Fairing, Lexan® Windshield, Full-Length Rider and Passenger Footboards, One-Piece, Two Up Classic Seat, Injection-Molded GTX® Saddlebags and King Tour-Pak.

Tickets are available for a chance to win the Electra Glide and are $20 with a limit of 1,500 tickets to be sold.  The drawing will be announced on Sunday, August 23.  The motorcycle was partially sponsored by Larry's Sport Center, Galeton, PA.  Tickets are available to purchase before the event at the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, at the Taste of Olean and Gus Macker, various Rally committee members and during the Rally event.

The Rally Committee is spearheaded by Dennis Jones, Randy Langdon, Larry Penman,  and Dan Jordan.  “Through the 6th annual Rally in the Valley, we have been able to give more than $87,000.00 to local charities,” said Rally Co-Chair Dennis Jones.  The charities that will benefit this year include
